Crime-fighting K-9 battling cancer

Fox 9 has the story of New Hope police officer Todd Black, and his 8-year-old K-9 partner, Jack. The German shepherd spent six years at Black's side, chasing down suspects and sniffing out narcotics. But veterinarians had to remove a mass on his spleen and is now battling blood cancer.

Fox 9 has the story of New Hope police officer Todd Black, and his 8-year-old K-9 partner, Jack. The German shepherd spent six years at Black's side, chasing down suspects and sniffing out narcotics. But veterinarians had to remove a mass on his spleen and is now battling blood cancer.

The dog is retired and now officially belongs to Black, who is seeing him through treatment.
