What are the best summer songs of all time?

It's been debated locally before. Minnesotans weighed in when the Current asked the question.

Billboard has a top 30 listing.

And Entertainment Weekly has a top 100. That list features songs that are not just about summer. EW said the tunes had to meet these criteria: singles had to peak during summer months, and more vaguely, each had to capture the breezy, loopy, head-spinning quintessence of summer.

Several Minnesota acts are on the EW list, including Prince's "Little Red Corvette" (No. 65) and Bob Dylan (No. 25):
