Cub Foods is seeking 50+ new managers for Minnesota stores

Cub Foods is hiring over 50 workers to fill management-level positions in Minnesota.

Available positions include store directors, assistant store directors, pharmacists, and department managers.

These are full-time positions with benefits, according to Jeff Swanson, Vice President, Communications and Enterprise Learning at SUPERVALU.

"With our company growth, these are either new positions or backfill positions due to promotions of current employees," Swanson told BringMeTheNews.

Department manager positions are paid according to the union contract wage scale, he said. All other positions are paid competitively within the market.

Swanson said that most of the openings are in the Twin Cities metro area.

Qualifications

Cub said in a news release that they are looking for "great leaders" who have previous management experience and customer service skills.

"Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn, grow and advance with a company that continues to expand its reach in the Twin Cities and is committed to giving back to its communities," the release said.

Cub Foods Management Career Fair

The Minnesota grocer will be hosting a career fair at the company's headquarters located at 421 South 3rd Street in Stillwater.

It will be held on Tuesday, April 26, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m., and again Wednesday, April 27, from 2–6 p.m.

Qualified candidates need to apply online at www.cub.com before attending the career fair, and bring their resumes to the event. Interviews will be conducted at the event on a first-come basis.
