Michael Cuddyer can insert his name next to the all-time greats in Twins history.

The Twins announced Friday that Cuddyer and former general manager Andy MacPhail were voted into the team's Hall of Fame.

"Andy and Michael both made significant contributions to our franchise over an extended period of time," said Twins President Dave St. Peter. "In addition, both men have earned widespread respect across our organization, within our industry and most importantly – with our fans.”

Cuddyer played 11 of his 15 MLB seasons with the Twins, finishing his time in Minnesota with 1,106 hits, 239 doubles, 35 triples, 141 home runs, 580 RBI, 606 runs and 411 walks. He was an All-Star in 2011.

Cuddyer is back with the team now as a special assistant, much like Torii Hunter, who was a member of last year's Twins Hall of Fame.

MacPhail helped guide the Twins to World Series titles in 1987 and 1991 while serving as GM from 1986-1994.

Both will be inducted to the Hall when the Twins host the Diamondbacks Aug. 19-20.
