Hip-hop's always been a genre and culture rooted in keeping it real, and every time D.R.A.M. reemerges, we really keep wanting to give him a big hug. Perhaps no single D.R.A.M. clip captures this feeling more than his performance for NPR's Tiny Desk concert series.
Opening with "Cash Machine" (where he impressed us by making the machine noise with his mouth) we also got stripped down intimate performances of "Broccoli," "Sweet V.A. Breeze" and more from his album Big BabyD.R.A.M.. The small setting is pretty perfect for this, giving us an intimate view of D.R.A.M. as being just as much of a kind soul as he is on stage.
