Dairy Queen made a mid list showing on the list of the nation's top 50 quick-service restaurants, put together by QSR Magazine.
The Business Journal reports that the chain, owned by Edina-based American Dairy Queen Corp, was ranked as the nation's 18th largest quick-service restaurant chain, based on revenue. The Business Journal reports DQ had systemwide sales of $2.3 billion in its 4,459 locations.
McDonald's Corp. ranked No. 1 on the list. Subway was second and Starbucks Corp. ranked third.
