KARE-TV reports the land where the building sits on Division Street has been purchased by another company, so the business is relocating. The Dairy Queen building opened in 1949, and still has its original refrigerator and stainless steel counter-tops.

Target plans to open its first store in Maui

The proposed store would be the fifth location the Minneapolis-based discount retailer has on the Hawaiian Islands. Pacific Business News reports the 136,500-square-foot store will be the anchor of a new shopping center in Central Maui and could open in 2014.
