The Minnesota State Patrol has released dash-cam video that shows the moment a train slammed into a semi-truck in northern Minnesota last month.
A 67-year-old man was driving the semi-truck and had just completed a commercial vehicle inspection when he pulled onto CSAH 7 in St. Louis County as the train was approaching, KBJR 6 reported.
The State Patrol says he "ignored red flashing lights and stop arms" when he drove on the tracks.
The train dragged the truck a quarter-mile down the tracks before coming to a stop, FOX 21 says.
The driver, who suffered only minor injuries, was cited for failing to stop at a railroad crossing, reports note.
