Two more shows were announced for June 3 at the State Theatre after the First Ave shows were booked and went on sale at noon today. At the time of writing, the 7 p.m. show was almost sold out.

According to the Des Moines Register, Iowa fans are having the same trouble trying to get tickets. A second show was also added in Des Moines to appease demand.

First Avenue announced Wednesday that Chappelle would be performing two shows nightly from May 31 through June 2.

It’s similar to Chappelle’s sold out eight-show run at First Ave a few years ago that was well received.
