Foul play is not suspected in the death of a 52-year-old Shakopee man who was found dead in the snow, Shakopee Patch reports. (Patch reports the man was found Wednesday, although WCCO says it was Tuesday.)
"It appears to be an accidental death due to intoxication," Shakopee Police Capt. Craig Robson told Patch. Bottles of alcohol were found near the man and investigators believe he fell in the snow on his way from Top Star Market to his nearby apartment, Patch reports.
The snow storm Sunday was a factor in the deaths of at least three other people, the Star Tribune reported.
