St. Cloud mall went into lockdown again after a man flashed a gun

The lockdown at Crossroads Center has ended.

The lockdown at a St. Cloud mall is over.

St. Cloud police say Crossroads Center went into lockdown after 6:20 p.m. while officers searched for a man with a gun. Then around 8 p.m., the Star Tribune and WJON reported that the lockdown was ending. No injuries have been reported.

According to a news release, police were called to the scene around 6:20 Thursday evening.

Based on initial information, officials say a man and woman had been arguing outside of the food court. Then two men approached them.

One of the men lifted his shirt to flash a gun in his waistband. Then the men proceeded to enter the mall's food court.

Police explain that the couple did not know either of the men and that no threats were ever made.

"As a precautionary measure," officers were searching the mall for the two men.

The incident is under investigation and this story will be updated as more information becomes known.

This comes exactly two months after a man wielding a knife stabbed several people at the same mall.
