🔥Devin Booker is the first player since Kobe to score 70 in a game🔥
Twenty-year-old Devin Booker went completely bonkers on Friday night, becoming the sixth player in NBA history to score 70 points in a game.
Booker was a freak, hitting 21 of 40 shots and 24 of 26 free throws on his way to 70 points. It's the first time an NBA player has reached 70 in a game since Kobe Bryant scored 81 in in 2006.
The only other players to score 70+ are Wilt Chamberlain (he did it five times), Kobe, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor and David Robinson.
Not only did Booker go nuts, he did it in a Suns loss to the Celtics. Phoenix doesn't want to win because they're in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick in this summer's draft.
