Divers recover body of missing teen from Lake Elysian

Search teams recovered the body of a southern Minnesota teen from Lake Elysian Saturday, KEYC reports. The high school football player went missing after the boat he was in with four friends capsized around 6 a.m. as the group was duck hunting. A senior at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown high school, Brady Hruska was the only one that didn't make it back to shore.

Search teams recovered the body of a southern Minnesota teen from Lake Elysian Saturday, KEYC reports. The high school football player went missing after the boat he was in with four friends capsized around 6 a.m. as the group was duck hunting.

A senior at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown high school, Brady Hruska was the only one that didn't make it back to shore. Two others were transported to the hospital.

Waseca County News says Hruska was a wide receiver and cornerback for the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown high school football team. The team is scheduled to play in the 2AA section semifinals versus Medford High School at 7 p.m.

The coach tells the county newspaper that Hruska was the team's leading receiver.

Lake Elysian is located in southern Minnesota, about 25 miles southeast of Mankato.
