Green Bay police say they're seeing an increase of counterfeit bills used to buy Packers tickets on game days outside Lambeau Field. Beer selling compromise at TCF Stadium gets committee nod

A plan to sell beer at TCF Bank Stadium got little resistance in a House committee. The proposal allows beer sales in a beer garden in addition to high-priced box seats. Previous attempts to open up beer sales at the U of M stadium failed because they prohibited alcohol for fans in lower priced seats. University officials say beer sales could bring as much as $2 million a year in extra revenue.
