Search for plane resumes near Duluth

The search resumed Tuesday for a Lakeville pilot and his plane, missing since Friday. The Civil Air Patrol continue to scour the area north of Duluth for Michael Arthur Bratlie, 67, and his white twin-engine Piper PA31 Navaho. Six aircraft and two ground teams are involved in the search Tuesday.

Woman, dog reunited after fatal crash

A driver who survived a fatal crash and lost her Chihuahua in the accident recovered the dog six days later. Residents on a farm not far from the crash site three miles north of New Richland were able to catch the dog, Mia, and arranged for a reunion for grateful owner and Waseca resident Mandi Kauffman, the Albert Lea Tribune reports.
