The Dolan Co. is selling two businesses for the legal profession for about $17.5 million.

The Associated Press reports that the Minneapolis-based company plans to focus efforts on specialized technology services while phasing out a range of back office services to mortgage default law firms.

Dolan said Tuesday that it sold its NDeX South business to several law firm affiliates of that business. It has provided back office and support services to the law firms and their clients in Texas, California, Georgia and Nevada. Dolan plans to sell the NDeX Indiana business to the Indiana law firm affiliate, Feiwell & Hannoy, PC.
