Dorset's mayor brings 4 years of life experience to the job
Dorset, Minnesota, does not have a city hall. The town near Park Rapids is not even incorporated. But it does have a very distinctive mayor.
Robert Tufts is four years old.
WCCO-TV was able to book an interview with his honor as the area prepares to host the visitors coming up for this weekend's fishing opener.
Warning: do not watch this if you don't like cute four-year-olds.

Dorset is obviously a town that does not take itself too seriously. The town that calls itself the Restaurant Capital of the World celebrates its gustatory delights annually at a festival called A Taste of Dorset.
One tradition at the event is the selection of the next year's mayor. Instead of electing one, the townfolk pull a name out of a hat. And whomever that name belongs to is the next mayor. Even if he is four years old.
