Can't wait to find out what happens after Will Byers returns from the Upside Down? A new mobile game will transport you to Hawkins, Indiana right now.

In anticipation of the series' upcoming season, Netflix has released a Stranger Things game that's just as awesomely retro as the show.

The game launched on Wednesday and was created by indie developer Bonus XP.

Set in Hawkins in 1984, it's an action adventure game "just like the ones our heroes would have played back in the day," Bonux XP says.

Obviously, we downloaded it immediately. It's free in the Apple App Store and the Google Play store, with no in-app purchasing required.

As characters like Hopper, Mike, and Eleven, you "explore Hawkins and its surroundings" and solve puzzles using the unique abilities of each character.

"Nancy has an entire collection of bats to swing this time. Lucas can nail anything with his Wrist Rocket," Bonux XP explains.

Along the way, collect all the Eggos and Gnomes you can get your hands on, and compete against your friends' times on leaderboards and social media.

Check it out:

Season 2 of Stranger Things premieres on October 27.

You can watch the trailer here.
