Eagan singer on fire, advances on NBC's "The Voice"


Eagan native Nicholas David continues to clear hurdles on NBC's "The Voice," making it to the "Final Ten" Tuesday night.

The musician won the hearts of a national audience singing "The Power of Love," a 1985 single by Huey Lewis and the News on Monday and earned enough votes to advance to the next round.

Eagan singer advances on NBC's 'The Voice'

A singer and songwriter from Eagan made it through the initial round of NBC's "The Voice" Monday night. Nicholas David Mrozinski, or Nicholas David on the show, performed Ben E. King's classic "Stand by Me" that piqued the interest of judge Cee Lo Green. Mronzinski is a regular performer at St. Paul's Happy Gnome and Palmer's Bar and Whisky Junction in Minneapolis and has released a series of albums.

Eagan native Nick Mrozinski passed through the second "battle" round on NBC's hit show "The Voice" Monday night. Mrozinski, or Nicholas David on the show, performed "She's Gone" with fellow contestant Todd Kessler in a one-on-one competition.
