Five children were injured after an SUV rear-ended a school bus in Rushford, Minn, about 20 miles south of Winona. The school bus with about 25 children on board was dropping off students on Highway 43 around 4 p.m. Friday. The SUV, driven by 53-year-old Brian Moore of Winona, crashed into the back of the bus.

School bus critically injures pedestrian in St. Paul

A pedestrian was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a school bus in St. Paul. The man in his 50s or 60s was struck while the bus was taking a left-hand turn from Western Ave. onto Aurora Ave. He was transported to Regions Hospital and is expected to survive.
