Ellison lauds top Republicans for taking stand against Bachmann

Rep. Keith Ellison has written an editorial piece for the Washington Post that praises Sen. John McCain and Speaker of the House John Boehner for denouncing fellow Republican Rep. Bachmann for her recent accusations of Ellison being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. There was apparent communication between Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and her Democratic Congressional colleague Keith Ellison before Bachmann's recent claims that Ellison had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood on a nationally syndicated talk show. But in her 16-page letter to Ellison, Bachman never raised suspicions about his alleged ties to the organization.
