Former Olympic middle-distance runner and University of Wisconsin star athlete Suzy Favor Hamilton has acknowledged that she has worked for the last year as a Las Vegas escort.

The Smoking Gun story says she began working as a prostitute last December and charged $600 for one hour and $6,000 for a day, and that she worked in cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Chicago.

She lives in Madison, Wis., where she owns a realty company with her husband, ESPN and the Associated Press report.
