Snapchat has a new feature that lets you see what's happening around the world.

It's called Snap Map – try to say that three times fast. It's a map that shows where your friends are whenever they use the app.

If your friend is sharing their location with you, their Actionmoji will appear on the map. You can zoom in/out to find friends, and explore what's happening around you – or even across the ocean in another country.

Check out the promo video:

You can choose if you want to share your location with your friends, or secretly stalk them using the "Ghost Mode."

And if a bunch of people are all at the same location – like a sporting event, wedding or birthday party, or covering some breaking news – they can post to "Our Story," a group Snapchat stream.

All you have to do to get Snap Map is update your Snapchat app. You'll also need to enable location services.

Discover tips and tricks and find answers to common questions about Snap Map here.
