Alarmingly more than 38,000 people in the United States died by suicide in 2010. Of these tragic deaths more than 30,000 were attributed to men. The leading cause? Untreated depression. In 2010, The Face It Foundation was launched by Minneapolis residents Mark Meier and Bill Dehkes to raise awareness about the unique needs of men with depression and to bring to life innovative solutions to help men with depression.
