At least two cars were damaged in Minneapolis overnight after bricks fell off an Uptown apartment building, Fox 9 reports.
Minneapolis firefighters say about a quarter of a building's wall at the Marshland Apartments on 3140 Emerson Ave. South fell off about 1 a.m., scattering a pile of bricks about 30 feet outward.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The tenants of the apartment building's 10 units were evacuated while the structural integrity of the building was checked out, Fox 9 reports.
Meanwhile, city officials are investigating the cause of a partial building collapse in the warehouse district in downtown Minneapolis.
The Star Tribune says a stretch of an outer brick wall of building -- which housed a heating company -- collapsed Thursday morning.
No injuries were reported in the collapse.
