Volunteers out searching for an 18-year-old who went into the river earlier this week have located a body.
Levi Wuollet of Dassel was swimming with his brother and a friend in the North Fork Crow River in Middleville Township Monday evening. He'd graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School the day before.
At one point while swimming, he went underwater and never came back up.
Volunteer searchers have been helping probe the area since, and at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday they found a body, the Wright County Sheriff's Office said.
The body was found in the Crow River, downstream from where Wuollet went missing.
Wuollet's family: Our hearts 'are broken'
The remains have not been officially identified as Wuollet. That will come from the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in the coming days.
But family of Wuollet wrote in an update on YouCaring Friday morning they believe the body is their "dear beloved son and brother."
"While [our] hearts are broken we still wish to thank everyone who has prayed, searched, fed and cared for us with so much love," the update says. "The outpouring support of community, family, friends, law enforcement, search & rescue, Red Cross and to many others to name has been what has carried us through this tragedy."
The YouCaring profile was set up to help pay for costs associated with the search efforts. It's raised more than $25,000 so far, with more than 480 people donating.
