Beer maker seeks brewery site in Fargo

The owners of Fargo Beer Co., makers of Wood Chipper Indian Pale Ale and Stone’s Throw Scottish Ale, are in the process of acquiring a place to brew beer in Fargo, the Forum reports. Right now, Fargo Beer is brewed in Wisconsin at Sand Creek Brewery. According to the newspaper, city officials are working on a brewery license ordinance, but it might be early next year before it's finalized.

Next week, crews at the central Minnesota brewing company will begin bottling three new craft beers. The St. Cloud Times reports it will be available in bars and restaurants by the end of the month. The upgraded facility will continue making Northern lager, John Henry ale and other beers.
