Fatal shooting in north Minneapolis leads to 1 man in custody


One man is dead and another in custody after a shooting in north Minneapolis Friday evening.

WCCO-TV reports that the shooting was just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Emerson Avenue North and 36th Avenue North after a fight broke out in a car.

KARE 11 says the whole incident took place in the car.

WCCO says the suspect stayed at the scene for questioning, and KARE says he is in custody and cooperating with police.

Neither man's name has been released.
