Fire at Roseville Babies R Us causes $1.5M worth of damages

Author:

A fire at Babies R Us in Roseville on Thursday morning has caused an estimated $1.5 million in damage.

KARE 11 reports that the fire was reported at 6.41 a.m. and when crews arrived at the 2400 block of N. Fairview, they found smoke coming from the store.

The news station reports that 35 firefighters and chiefs battled the blaze, which they managed to beat back quickly, but not before it had taken a toll on the building.

According to KSTP, the damage from the smoke, fire and sprinklers could total around $1.5 million, based on estimates by fire officials.

The fire is under investigation, KSTP notes, but does not appear to be suspicious. Nobody was injured by the blaze, which was in the back of the building.
