A fire at the Bluefin Bay Resort along the shore of Lake Superior in Tofte, Minn., damaged five units and threatened several others Saturday afternoon, the Duluth News Tribune reports.

General manager and owner Dennis Rysdahl told the newspaper four condos were severely damaged and another suffered extensive water damage as crews tried to stop the fire from spreading.

Volunteer firefighters from nine departments responded to the blaze.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported and no one was inside the affected units when the flames broke out around noon.

The State Fire Marshal’s office is working to determine the cause of the fire, according to the Northland NewsCenter. Investigators are focusing on a wood-burning fireplace, the News Tribune reported.

Rysdahl told WDIO-TV he hopes the units will reopen by next weekend.

Bluefin Bay is located about 80 miles northeast of Duluth.
