Forecasters say gusty winds and hot, dry weather could spark dangerous and fast-moving fires.

The Weather Service has issued a "red-flag warning" -- its most severe warning -- for parts of Minnesota, including the metro area. The warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Kare 11 reports the dry conditions yesterday led to a fire on a farm in Carver County. Luckily firefighters arrived and extinguished the blaze before it got out of control.
