Barring any late reports of any babies being born earlier, it appears that Minnesota's first bundle of joy in 2013 arrived at 12:11 a.m. Tuesday morning in Waconia.
KARE 11 reports that a girl, Naomi Marie Rademacher, was born at 12:11 a.m. at Ridgeview Medical Center, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Parents Charles and Anna of Cologne, Minn., are the parents of three other children.
Meanwhile, WCCO-TV reports that Christina and Jason Negus became the parents of the first baby boy born.
Charles Negus weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.
