Flags to fly at half staff Tuesday in honor of Rochester soldier

Governor Dayton ordered state and national flags be flown at half staff Tuesday to honor the memory of Army Sgt. Nicholas Dickhut. He was killed in action in Afghanistan last week. It was Dickhut's second overseas deployment. He'd been awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Army Specialist Kedith Jacobs was a 2008 graduate of Richfield High School. He was killed when his unit was attacked in Afghanistan last month. Jacobs had received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart among other awards.
