A Delta flight from the Twin Cities was forced into an emergency landing in Fargo after smoke was reported in the cockpit.
The 5:55 p.m. flight from MSP Airport was carrying 189 passengers headed for Anchorage, Alaska on Thursday evening when the emergency arose.
It was just over Bismarck, North Dakota when smoke was discovered in the cockpit of the Boeing 757, KFYR reports.
It was forced to turn around and fly to Fargo, landing safely at Hector International Airport around 7:30 p.m.
According to WDAY, a flight from the Twin Cities arrived in Fargo at 11 p.m. to pick up the passengers and take them on to Alaska.
