Forbes: Only NYC worse than Twin Cities for renters

Forbes analyzed 44 major metro areas to find the best and worst cities for renters, and the Twin Cities was almost at the very bottom, worse than Washington, D.C. and San Francisco (although rents are cheaper here). The magazine looked at average rent in 2012’s first quarter; how much that price has changed year-over-year; vacancy rates; and the difference between the average monthly rental payment versus monthly mortgage payments.
