The former Minnesotan sold to the network her script for "Alex + Amy," which is described as a "romance between an ambitious 22-year-old Millennial guy and a 32-year-old Gen X woman."
Cody won a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for the 2007 comedy "Juno," which was set in Minnesota. She also wrote the screenplay for the 2011 Charlize Theron comedy "Young Adult," which was also set in and partially shot in Minnesota.
