Former Twin Cities Archdiocese official charged with theft by swindle

Charges have been filed against the former accounting director of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis in a theft case. Scott Domeier was charged with seven counts of theft by swindle Friday in Ramsey County District Court. Domeier, 50, of Cottage Grove, is accused of stealing about $670,000 over eight years.
