Former Wis. school principal pleads guilty to distributing pot
A former Antigo, Wis. elementary school principal and high school football coach linked to a marijuana distribution ring in northeast Wisconsin reached a plea agreement with prosecutors Monday.
The Wausau Daily Herald reports 48-year-old John Lund pleaded guilty to one count of manufacturing or delivering marijuana.
Lund was among nearly a dozen people, including seven educators from the Merrill and Antigo school districts, that the Langlade County Sheriff’s Department accused of running a drug distribution ring exposed in late 2011.
Lund is expected to be sentenced March 6 and faces a maximum of three and a half years in prison, WSAW reports.
