Fridley man identified as homicide victim in New Hope death

A man found dead in a car parked in New Hope has been identified as a homicide victim by the Hennepin County medical examiner.

KMSP reports that the victim Kent Lee Walker Jr, 59, of Fridley, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

New Hope Police said that the body was discovered Thursday night in a car in a parking lot on the 7600 block of Bass Lake Road. Officers wouldn't speculate on how long the man had been dead.

No suspects have been arrested thus far.
