A Wausau, Wisc. TV station, WAOW, reports that Kira Steger's funeral will be Saturday, Oct. 26, in Rothschild, her hometown. She will be buried at St. Michael's cemetery.

Steger's husband, Jeffrey Trevino, was convicted of second-degree murder Oct. 2. Steger's body was recovered from the Mississippi River in May. She was last seen alive in February at the Mall of America. Prosecutors told jurors that Trevino killed Steger because she was having an affair and wanted to leave him.

Trevino is scheduled to be sentenced Nov 25. His attorney has asked a judge to dismiss his conviction.
