Lurye’s Furniture, a longtime retail fixture in downtown Superior, Wis., is going out of business, the Northland NewsCenter reports. Fifth generation owners Harold and Anne Grossman have decided to retire after running the store for more than 40 years.

Watch the story below:

“The final sale truly is a celebration of the five generations of my family, who have been privileged to have the patronage of so many in the Superior-Duluth area and nearby over so many years,” Harold Grossman said in a statement, the Duluth News Tribune reports. “We look forward to seeing many old friends as we prepare to close for good.”

Lurye’s Furniture first opened its doors in 1898 and moved to its current location in 1937.
