Giant, kid-friendly ants have taken over Minneapolis.

Performers dressed as ants have been putting on shows at the Walker Art Center's sculpture garden over the past few days, inviting children to help stack and arrange "crumbs."

"Faced with hundreds of giant bread crumbs and three big insects, children are irresistibly drawn in to discover what the Ants want them to do. Ants is an enchanting investigation into the nature of work and children’s relationship with their environment," one description of the event says.

Watch the ants in action:

The interactive performances are put on by actors from the Melbourne, Australia-based Polyglot Theatre Company. They've been delighting kids at the Walker four times each day since Thursday.

Sunday marks the final day of free performances. The ants were in the Upper Garden at 11 a.m. and noon, and will appear again at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., the Walker said in a Facebook post.

If you want to check it out, stop at the Main Lobby desk this afternoon to find out the ants' exact location.

After Sunday, the ants will march on to Breckenridge Creative Arts for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts, from August 10-13.
