The Republican presidential hopefuls are making a last-minute blitz on Minnesota on the eve of the state caucuses on Tuesday.

Rick Santorum is in Rochester on Monday morning, Ron Paul is rallying in St. Cloud, and Newt Gingrich is set to appear Monday evening in Bloomington. Minnesota Public Radio has details on those events.

Mitt Romney's team is also staging a rally at its Edina headquarters on Monday, though the contender himself won't be attending, according to the Star Tribune. The paper says he's off to Colorado, where polls show him doing better.

The race in Minnesota "is so evenly poised that any one of the four hopefuls can win the state," reports the International Business Times.

Minnesota Republicans are now "among the most conservative party activists in the country," a former GOP leader tells the Associated Press. And that swing could spell trouble for Romney. The news service says conservatives in Minnesota appear to be leaning more toward Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich.
