Is that the ghost of a ship?

YouTube user Jason Asselin posted the video of what kind of looks like an eerie ship floating in the waves on Lake Superior.

In the video's description, he wrote:

"Saturday evening far off coast from Marquette, Michigan, appeared this mysterious ship that had to be gigantic! Almost as if a ghost ship was showing itself to the world.. Even if it was a ship, what could be that tall in these choppy waves?"

Maybe its an apparition from one of thousands of shipwrecks that have happened on the Great Lakes? Or something that can be explained by people who are familiar with the area?

Either way, it has people wondering.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Asselin's video had been viewed nearly 540,000 times since being posted Monday. The video has received nearly 500 comments, with many guessing at what the "ghost ship" could be – some said a building or a lighthouse, others said maybe it was a mirage.
