HealthPartners is planning to remodel and expand its cancer care center at Regions Hospital in downtown St. Paul, the Business Journal reports.
The Bloomington-based health provider will spend $4.2 million on the project. The new facility will feature six additional chairs used for administering chemotherapy.
"Overall, the expansion will help reduce wait times for our patients and create a more spacious, private environment to help patients heal," Regions said in the statement to the Journal.
Work on the new center will start in May and be ready before the end of the year.
