New Orleans is under a state of emergency after a large, violent tornado ripped through the east side of the city just before the lunch hour Tuesday.

According to the Times-Picayune, at least 25 people were injured as a result of the twister. No deaths have been reported.

One person filmed the monster tornado as it shredded its way through the area, throwing large debris through the air and dragging a tractor trailer across the ground. This person is probably lucky considering they rode along the edge of it.
