Hip-hop rallies for Kid Cudi following depression announcement

Hip-hop star Kid Cudi publicly posted on Facebook that he was going to be checking himself into rehab for depression and suicidal thoughts.

Since then, the outpouring of support has been tremendous. Several hip-hop artists -- as well as other former collaborators and fans of Cudi -- have sent public messages applauding his bravery for addressing the topic of mental health in such a way. It's also lead to the hashtag #YouGoodMan trending, encouraging a public dialogue on depression.
