Historic Lake Minnetonka mansion for sale by owner

A Lake Minnetonka home formerly owned by the Dayton family could be yours for $5.75 million. according to the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.

Current owner Tom Wartman and his wife, Rhea, listed the 10,000 square-foot house last week to take advantage of the current upswing in high-end home sales. The house in Shorewood was built in 1906, and has four bedrooms, nine bathrooms and modern updates.

The Star Tribune reported the Wartman family has lived in the Dutch Colonial home for 40 years.
