Deloitte’s 27th annual holiday survey shows shoppers in the Twin Cities plan to spend roughly $430 on gifts this year. That’s about three percent more on gifts than last year and 10 percent more than the national average.

The Mall of America has reopened the north entrance to the West parking deck, which had been closed for more than a week after it was damaged during an accident that killed one person.

A narrow rectangular concrete span collapsed when it was struck by a U-Haul truck in the West Parking Ramp at the Mall of America in Bloomington Friday night. MOA's ice castle construction to begin next month

The Mall of America released more information on its highly anticipated ice castle construction expected just in time for Christmas. Utah-based Ice Castles, LLC will begin building the frozen structures next month. Construction takes about four to six weeks.
