A western Wisconsin bomb squad was called in to investigate a "homemade incendiary device" found in a vehicle early Tuesday morning.

The Roberts Police Department said in a statement they made contact with a suspicious vehicle in an industrial park around 2 a.m. Tuesday and arrested two people. After some investigation, authorities found what appeared to be a homemade incendiary device in the vehicle.

Police secured a perimeter around the vehicle and say there is no threat to the general public, the statement said.

A bomb squad from Marathon County will inspect the device.

The vehicle was parked behind the Frito Lay plant, KSTP says.
